Wife suggested we wait until next week so that she could join me in my quest to torture myself and get to know every inch of the cabin of my car. Also, gives us more time to make sure everything is in order and maybe still get a PPI done.

Epic car, I have an IS350 and with a few mods the 08-11 are a much better value than a 2012 one and the cluster is cooler too in my personal opinion

Also the 1g0 paint (smoky granite mica) is the same as mine! It’s a personal favorite for understatement. Not flashy like USB or MRM

Everyone I have talked to loves the color. Not too flashy but its super deep and absorbs a lot of color from whatever is around.

Missed the earlier post, but these cars look great. Lexus does really good paint even if it is a typically less than interesting color.

It’s amaazingly deep. Literally as “boring” as that would normally be it absorbs so much color from its surroundings. I mean look at thaaat.

I th ink 2013 and 2014 went to a single gauge from dual. It’s hard to tell for sure but I think the last year got the sliding tach from the 2015 and newer cars.

I think it gives it a presence it otherwise tries to hide. The worst part is when you don’t have the stock exhaust, looking somewhat close at the exhaust shows they fake.

I love my 09' in blue!!! I also have Yukihiko Yaguchi’s production team lapel pin in the same color. And one of the Australian dealership wall art prints in blue. Hint: I like the blue!!!

They have the right balance of elegance and aggressive looks, the newer ones just look like, ‘look at me, are you looking at me, look at me, look at me, LOOK AT ME!!!’.

I’m still aiming to get a GSF. The new styling direction is very devisive, but I am a fan of GS and LC. New LS is much more special than the last. I want an F90 M5 too, which is conservative in it’s styling at best.

Apparently the 2011 has a newer version of the pump that lasts longer. Also, I have access to parts at cost. :)
